What is mvmtr?: mvmtr is a Mail Transport Agent (MTA) receiver, intended to operate closely with the mvmda Mail Delivery Agent.
Why is this needed?: It may not be. It's an experimental project that helps facilitate the development of the mvmtr LMTP interface, as well as bring about some very close cooperation between mvmda and the SMTP receiver. See also the "design thoughts."
